INFORMATION ABOUT US

The Family Medicine Society is an association of postgraduate professionals who came from the Family Medicine Residency Program of several several training institutions. The institutions include The AUNL, the Mexican Institute of Social Service, the Institute of Social Security for the State Workers and other institutions outside the State of Nuevo Leon. These institutions share the commitment of keeping abreast of the new information and to continuing our professional growth following the principles of the Family Medicine discipline. We will try to emphasize the family doctors function in Society and also to put the discipline in better position in the State Health System. We also try to privilege the educational activities that the family doctor is able to offer as well as the consolidation of the role of the Family Physician as an effective first level doctor and to promote healthy life styles in the population through the use of written material including the cyberspace.
